Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our growing AI practice. You will design, build, and deploy machine learning models that solve real-world business problems for our clients across manufacturing, healthcare, and other industries. This role involves the full ML lifecycle, from problem framing and data engineering through model development, evaluation, and production deployment.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement machine learning solutions for client projects including computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics
- Build end-to-end ML pipelines from data collection and preprocessing through model training, evaluation, and deployment
- Collaborate with clients to understand business problems and translate them into well-defined ML tasks
- Develop production-grade model serving infrastructure with monitoring and retraining capabilities
- Mentor junior data scientists and ML engineers on the team
- Stay current with the latest research and evaluate new techniques for applicability to client problems
- Write clean, tested, documented code that follows engineering best practices

Requirements

3-5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in production environments

Strong proficiency in Python with deep knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX

Experience with computer vision (CNNs, object detection) and/or NLP (transformers, LLMs)

Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: feature engineering, model evaluation, cross-validation, bias-variance tradeoff

Experience with ML deployment tools: Docker, FastAPI/Flask, model serving frameworks

Familiarity with cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML)

Strong communication skills and ability to explain ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred
