Omeecron Furniture Manufacturing ERP
Cloud ERP for Indian furniture manufacturers — Jodhpur solid-wood exporters, Mumbai modular factories, Bengaluru office furniture, Pepperfry / Urban Ladder vendors. Modular + solid-wood dual costing, custom-size BOM auto-expansion, finish recipe master, project milestone billing, breakage photo trail, BIS + BIFMA compliance. From ₹1,700/month.
Where the day-to-day really hurts
Real pain we’ve seen on Indian factory floors — and how the system fixes each one.
Your factory makes modular wardrobes AND solid-wood dining tables. Tally treats them the same way; you cost both wrong; one product subsidises the other invisibly.
Dual costing engine: modular = BOM-driven, solid-wood = timber × cubic-foot × wastage. Each costed correctly side-by-side.
Customer wants the 1500mm wardrobe but in 1800mm width. Engineering team rebuilds the BOM by hand. 2 hours per custom variant. Salesperson loses the deal during the wait.
Custom-size BOM auto-expansion. Length / width / height scaling factors per design auto-adjust material consumption. Quote ready in 2 minutes, not 2 hours.
Project order: 50 wardrobes for a hotel. Customer wants invoice in milestones — 30% on PO, 60% on dispatch, 10% on installation. Your accountant invoices in one shot. Cash flow ruined.
Milestone billing engine: each milestone auto-generates GST invoice + EWB with customer-side acceptance gate. Cash flow matches contract.
Furniture arrives broken at customer site. Customer says "your delivery"; transporter says "your packing". You eat the loss — ₹40,000 for one wardrobe.
Carton-level photo log at dispatch + delivery. Insurance pays, customer pays, or transporter pays — based on photo evidence.
Pepperfry settlement report drops 21 days later as a 4000-row CSV. Returns + storage fees + commission deductions all mixed together. Your accountant accepts whatever lands.
Auto-reconciliation against Pepperfry / Urban Ladder / Wakefit / Amazon settlement CSVs. Per-SKU, per-order match against marketplace fees. Typical recovery: 1-3% of marketplace revenue.
BIS IS 1141 timber-preservation cert + BIFMA X5.1 office-chair durability test cert demanded by corporate-project customer. You scramble for old PDFs and pray they match the batch.
BIS + BIFMA cert library linked per design + per batch. Customer audit one-click report.
Real ROI, with numbers we can defend
Time to quote a custom-size variant — BOM auto-expansion replaces hand-rebuilding.
Zero disputed transit-damage claims after carton-level photo trail kicks in.
Recovery from missed Pepperfry / Urban Ladder / Wakefit / Amazon settlement reversals.
Every project milestone invoiced on the trigger date — not 2 weeks late.
Built for this industry, not adapted from generic ERP
Modular + Solid-Wood Dual Costing
Modular BOMs (carcass + door + slides + handles + edge-band) and solid-wood costing (timber grade × cubic foot × wastage %) live side-by-side. Same factory runs both without one ERP forcing the other model.
Custom-Size BOM Auto-Expansion
Customer asks "this design but 1800mm wide instead of 1500mm" → BOM scales material consumption by length / width / height factors. Quote and production plan update in seconds. No re-engineering for every variant.
Finish Recipe Master
Stain + sealer + topcoat recipes defined once (natural walnut, dark teak, rustic oak, etc.). Same SKU + different finish = different BOM + different cost. Auto-applied at order entry.
Breakage Photo Trail
Photo log at dispatch + photo log at delivery for every carton. Furniture breaks in transit; disputes resolved with evidence chain, not arguments. Insurance claims defensible.
Project Milestone Billing
Project orders invoiced in milestones — 30% on PO + 60% on dispatch + 10% on installation sign-off. Each milestone auto-generates its GST invoice + EWB. Customer-side acceptance captured per milestone.
E-Commerce Reconciliation
Pepperfry / Urban Ladder / Wakefit / Amazon / Flipkart settlement reports parsed automatically. Marketplace fees, return-related credits, TDS, TCS reconciled per SKU per order. Recover the 1-3% that's currently slipping.

The Dual-Costing Reality
Modular and solid-wood costed correctly, in the same factory.
The single biggest reason generic ERPs fail in Indian furniture: the factory runs both models. Same shop floor produces modular wardrobes (BOM-driven) and solid-wood tables (timber-cost-driven) — and they cost completely differently.
- Modular SKU: BOM lists every part — 18mm pre-laminated particleboard for carcass, 18mm MDF for door, two drawer slides, four handles, edge-banding, adhesive, screws. Cost = sum of part costs + labour + overhead + margin.
- Solid-wood SKU: Cost driver is timber. 6-seater dining table consumes ~22 cubic feet of teak. Teak grade A1 at ₹4,200/cubic-foot. Wastage allowance 12%. Plus hardware + finishing + labour + overhead + margin.
- Same SKU in different finishes: "Walnut" vs "Mahogany" vs "Natural" — same modular BOM, different finish recipe (stain + sealer + topcoat passes). Cost differs by ~₹200-800 per piece. Captured at order entry, not back-of-envelope.
- Mixed orders: a hotel project order has modular wardrobes + solid-wood headboards in the same PO. The system costs each line correctly without forcing one model on the other.
This is the workflow that lets you quote a project accurately. End of the "we lost ₹2 lakh on that hotel order because the timber went over" reviews.
Honest Cloud Boundaries
What runs in the browser vs what needs an on-site connector.
Starter and Growth plans are 100% cloud — open Chrome, do everything. Hardware integrations can work but need a small on-site connector (quoted separately, Enterprise scope):
- ✓ Cloud-only (Starter / Growth): Dual costing (modular + solid-wood) · Custom-size BOM expansion · Finish recipe master · Project milestone billing · Breakage photo trail (mobile uploads) · E-commerce reconciliation · GST + EWB · Customer + supplier ledgers · BIS / BIFMA document storage · Marketplace SKU mapping · Retail POS (tablet-based)
- ⚙ Needs on-site connector (Enterprise add-on): Auto-read cut-list from CNC / panel-saw (Biesse / Homag / SCM controllers via DXF/CSV import) · Direct integration with paint-line dosing systems for finish recipe execution · Live floor-shop scanner ingestion at edge-banding / drilling stations
We don't claim cloud-magic over your CNC. If you want your panel-saw cut-list to flow from the ERP without re-entry, we install a small Windows agent at the cutting station that talks to your machine and pushes the cut-list. Quoted per machine. Manual cut-list export-import works fine on Starter / Growth.
On the roadmap · Rolling out through 2026
AI assists on the roadmap for your furniture factory.
AI assists are rolling out on the Omeecron platform through 2026 — included on the Growth plan when they ship, no extra cost. Here's exactly where AI will help in your factory's daily flow:
- 📄 Document AI (OCR + auto-fill): Customer drawings → custom-size BOM auto-expanded; Pepperfry / Urban Ladder settlement CSVs → per-SKU reconciliation drafted, ready to post.
- 👁 Quiet Watchdog (anomaly detection): Marketplace settlement gaps, finish-recipe deviation per shift, and project milestone slippage — flagged before the cash-flow hit.
- 💬 Ask Your ERP (vertical chatbot): "Margin per SKU last month" · "Open milestones across project orders" — typed answer with the dual-costing math baked in.
These are planned features, not live today. We're building them in the open and Growth-plan customers get them free as they ship. Want early-access? WhatsApp us.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Indian Furniture, Modular & Solid-Wood Manufacturers.
Each SKU is tagged at creation as either modular or solid-wood. The system applies the right costing model automatically; both can coexist in the same PO, in the same production schedule.
- Modular SKU: BOM-driven. Carcass + door + slides + handles + edge-banding + adhesive + screws. Cost rolls up from parts.
- Solid-wood SKU: Timber-driven. Defines species + grade + cubic-foot consumption + wastage % + hardware + finishing. Cost = (timber CFT × ₹/CFT × (1 + wastage)) + hardware + labour + overhead + margin.
- Mixed orders: a hotel PO with 30 modular wardrobes + 15 solid-wood beds — both lines costed correctly without manual override
- Reporting: profitability dashboards split by costing model — see which type of order makes you money
It handles dimensional scaling (length × width × height) per design. For genuinely new variants (a wardrobe with extra shelves, a different drawer layout), Engineering raises a new SKU — but those are rarer than people think.
- Per-design scaling factors: set how material consumption scales with each dimension
- Example wardrobe: 1500mm wide standard; scaling factor 0.7 per 100mm width change. Customer wants 1800mm → carcass-board area auto-scales × (1 + 3 × 0.07/100mm); hardware count unchanged.
- Quote update: 2 minutes, not 2 hours. Salesperson closes during the visit.
- Production plan: custom-size piece slots into the cutting plan with adjusted dimensions; rest of the workflow unchanged
- Edge case: if a customer wants 3000mm (twice the standard) the engine warns and routes to Engineering review — large-jump variants need separate validation
Same recipe pattern as F&B but for wood finishes. Each finish (Walnut, Mahogany, Natural, Distressed Teak) is a defined sequence of passes with specific products + quantities + drying time.
- Recipe: Walnut on teak = 1 coat wood-conditioner + 2 coats walnut stain + 1 coat sanding-sealer + 2 coats PU lacquer. Each pass has a specified consumption (g/sqft) and drying time.
- Auto-cost: applying Walnut to a piece consumes 120g across all passes × ₹/g of each product = finish cost per piece
- Same SKU different finish: a dining table in Natural costs ₹400 less than in Walnut. Captured at order entry; not retrofitted in costing later.
- Finish library: 20-40 finishes typical; one-time setup with your finishing-shop supervisor
- QC trail: each pass captured per piece for warranty + customer complaint resolution
Project orders define the milestone split (typical 30% PO + 60% dispatch + 10% installation, but configurable per customer). Each milestone trigger auto-generates a GST invoice + EWB + customer-side acceptance gate.
- PO milestone: 30% invoice raised on PO acceptance; e-Invoice + EWB on advance payment
- Dispatch milestone: 60% invoice raised on dispatch; per-line dispatch quantity tracked; EWB via NIC API
- Installation milestone: 10% invoice raised on site-acceptance sign-off; installation team mobile-app captures customer signature + photo
- Mixed-milestone schedules: hotel project might have phased delivery (50% wave 1 dispatch + 50% wave 2 dispatch + final installation) — each wave tracks independently
- Retention / withholding: some corporate customers withhold 5-10% for defect-liability period; tracked in the customer ledger
Yes — per-carton photo at dispatch + per-carton photo at delivery, both linked to the consignment. When a customer disputes damage, the evidence is one click away.
- Dispatch: packing supervisor takes photo per carton at the loading dock
- Delivery: driver / delivery agent takes photo per carton at customer site via mobile app
- Customer claim: system shows both photos side-by-side; damage visible only in delivery photo = transit damage (insurance / transporter chargeback); damage visible in dispatch photo = your packing problem
- E-commerce returns: Pepperfry / UL / Wakefit dispute portals accept the dispatch photo as packing-quality evidence
- Insurance: transit-insurance claims are defensible in arbitration with the photo trail; recovery typically 60-80% of damage value
Marketplace settlement reports (Pepperfry / Urban Ladder / Wakefit / Amazon / Flipkart / Myntra) are parsed nightly. Sales, returns, fees, TDS, TCS reconciled per SKU per order. Typical recovery: 1-3% of marketplace revenue.
- SKU mapping: each marketplace SKU mapped to your internal SKU at onboarding
- CSV / API ingestion: Pepperfry seller-panel exports, UL vendor portal, Wakefit consignment statements, Amazon Settlement Report, Flipkart MIS — all parsed
- Reconciliation: per order line — gross sale, marketplace commission, return charges, storage / pick-pack, TDS 194-O, TCS 52 — matched against the bank credit
- Discrepancy report: orders where marketplace owes you but credit didn't land; flagged for follow-up with marketplace finance
- Common recoveries: closing fee not reversed on cancelled orders, return-related credits delayed, storage fee mis-calculated, TDS short-deducted
Yes — export workflow (shipping bill, AWB, FEMA Form A-2, EDPMS, RoDTEP claim prep) is on Growth and Enterprise plans.
- Pre-shipment: Form A-2 + shipping-bill prep with HSN-mapped duty drawback / RoDTEP rates
- EDPMS data uploaded with shipping bill
- Post-shipment: bank-credit advice ingested; auto-matched against shipping-bill GR/SDF; e-BRC tracked
- RoDTEP claim auto-prepared per HSN (typical wood-furniture rates 2-4%)
- Container photo trail matters for export: stuffing photos + survey reports + load-port photos all captured for documentary credit (LC) compliance
- Forest-products documentation: Forest Department transit pass + species certification linked to dispatch
Yes — compliance cert library linked per design + per batch. Customer audit ("show me the BIFMA test cert for these chairs") resolves in one click.
- BIS IS 1141 (timber preservation): per-timber-lot treatment cert stored
- BIS IS 1659 (plywood spec): per-plywood-lot grade cert stored
- BIFMA X5.1 (office chair durability): per-design test cert uploaded
- BIFMA X5.5 (desk durability): per-design test cert uploaded
- BIFMA X5.9 (storage furniture): per-design test cert uploaded
- Customer audit pack: one-click export of all relevant certs for a given order or design
- Expiry calendar: certs typically valid 3 years; renewal reminders 90 days before expiry
14–21 working days for a 50-person factory. The variable is the SKU master cleanup — depends on whether your existing Excel BOM library is clean or messy.
- Day 1–4: SKU + BOM migration (the heavy bit — typically 100-500 SKUs)
- Day 5–6: Finish recipe library setup with your finishing-shop supervisor
- Day 7–8: Custom-size scaling-factor setup per design (typical 10-30 designs)
- Day 9–10: User training (production, finance, sales — online OR on-site)
- Day 11–12: First parallel order (one retail + one project) validated
- Day 13–18: Production team training on cutting / edge-banding / finishing workflow
- Day 19–21: Cutover with reconciled ledgers + first marketplace reconciliation run

Glossary — terms used on this page
- Modular vs Solid-Wood
- Two fundamentally different furniture-manufacturing models. Modular uses engineered panels (particleboard, MDF, HDHMR, plywood) assembled with hardware; costed by BOM. Solid-wood uses sawn timber; costed by cubic-foot consumption + wastage.
- BOM Expansion
- The process of taking a base design and scaling its material consumption for a custom size (length × width × height). A 1500mm wardrobe scaled to 1800mm doesn't need re-engineering — the ERP applies per-dimension scaling factors automatically.
- Finish Recipe
- A defined sequence of stain + sealer + topcoat passes used to achieve a specific finish (Walnut, Mahogany, Natural, Distressed). Same concept as a F&B recipe but for wood surface treatment.
- KD vs Pre-Assembled
- Knock-Down (KD) = product shipped flat-packed for customer assembly (Pepperfry / Amazon standard). Pre-Assembled = product shipped fully built (project orders, hotels). Different cartoning + breakage profiles.
- BIFMA X5
- Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association — US-based certification body whose X5.1 / X5.5 / X5.9 standards define office furniture durability tests. Required by most corporate-project buyers in India.
- Milestone Billing
- Project-order billing pattern where the contract value is split across pre-defined milestones (typical 30% PO + 60% dispatch + 10% installation). Cash flow aligns with project progress rather than landing in one shot.
