We pull Sponsored Products / Brands / Display campaign spend, attribute it to the orders that converted, and subtract it alongside referral fees, FBA fees, storage, and TDS to give the seller their actual per-SKU contribution margin.

Security & data handling

How SellerOps protects Amazon information.

SellerOps is built and operated to meet the controls required by Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Network controls: firewall, IDS/IPS, anti-malware, and network segmentation between application, database, and backup tiers.
  • Least-privilege access: role-based access control — every employee's access to Amazon Information is restricted to the minimum required for their job function. Access reviewed quarterly.
  • Encryption in transit: all Amazon Information is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher (HTTPS, mTLS where supported).
  • Encryption at rest: Amazon Information is encrypted at rest in our database using AES-256.
  • Incident response plan: documented, reviewed every 6 months, with 24-hour customer notification commitment. Any incident involving Amazon Information is reported to security@amazon.com within 24 hours of detection.
  • Authentication: 12-character minimum password with special characters, multi-factor authentication required for all admin users, 365-day password expiration, annual credential rotation.
  • Credentials never in code: API keys, encryption keys, and secret access keys are stored in a secrets manager — never committed to source control, never shared by email, never hard-coded into application binaries.
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share Amazon Information with any external party. Data is used only to provide SellerOps to the seller who owns the account, and only for the use cases listed on this page.
  • No external Amazon data sources: we do not retrieve Amazon Information from any non-Amazon (MWS or scraped) source. Every data point in SellerOps comes from the seller's own SP-API or Ads API connection.
  • Right to disconnect + delete: the seller can disconnect their Amazon account and request full data deletion from the in-app settings at any time. Deletion completes within 30 days.

SellerOps uses eight standard SP-API categories — Product Listing, Pricing, Amazon Fulfillment, Buyer Communication, Buyer Solicitation, Selling Partner Insights, Finance and Accounting, and Inventory and Order Tracking. We do not currently request any of the restricted roles (Direct-to-Consumer Shipping, Tax Invoicing, Tax Remittance, Professional Services). Restricted roles will be requested in a future submission only when the underlying features ship to production users.

SellerOps reads ad performance via the Amazon Ads API; it does not create or edit campaigns. The Ads API integration is an additive capability — we pull Sponsored Products / Brands / Display campaign spend and attribute it to orders so the seller sees true net profit per SKU instead of gross revenue. Campaign creation, bidding, and budget management happen in the Amazon Ads console (or with our managed-services agency offering — a separate Omeecron product).

Yes — SellerOps sends buyer messages only through Amazon's official SP-API Messaging endpoints, never through external email or scraping. Templates are scoped to operational subjects (order updates, shipping clarifications, returns guidance) and explicitly exclude marketing copy. Every message is logged with timestamp and user, and the seller controls every template. Review request automation uses the SP-API solicitations endpoint exclusively — no third-party email bot, no policy violation surface.

SellerOps encrypts Amazon Information in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), uses role-based access control, requires MFA for admin users, and maintains an incident-response plan reviewed every six months with 24-hour notification to Amazon and customers. Credentials (API keys, secret access keys) are stored in a secrets manager — never committed to source control, never hard-coded. We do not share Amazon Information with third parties and do not retrieve Amazon data from any non-Amazon source.

Yes — both are self-service from the in-app settings, at any time, on any plan. Disconnecting revokes the SP-API and Ads API tokens immediately, stopping all data sync. A separate "Delete my data" action removes the seller's Amazon Information from the SellerOps database within 30 days. We retain only the minimum metadata required for billing-history and tax compliance per Indian law.
